Whether you're a group of first-time surfers or looking to refine your skills, our expert surf instructors provide personalized group surf lessons in a fun, safe, and supportive environment, never exceeding a 2 to 1 surfer/instructor ratio. Group lessons are perfect for families and friends, or corporate outings. Whatever it may be, it’s always a great way to connect and build confidence at sea. Each of our instructors are not only highly skilled surfers, but also posses CPR and lifeguard certifications, ensuring your safety while helping you progress as a surfer. Group surf lessons can accomodate the location of your group, between Southampton and Montauk.

A message from our head instructor and founder, Andrew Karr: “Safety in surfing is everything. Whether the waves are 2 foot or 50 foot, it is essential to have a plan of action and a system in place to ensure that all parties involved are safe. Each of our surf lessons are by instructors who are certified ocean lifeguards. Safety is our top priority at Legends Surf Co.” Andrew completed the “Big Wave Risk Assessment Group” summit in Nazare, Portugal.
